A petite pink-hair teenager walked along the grass as it spanned out ahead of her. Her red-brown eyes gazed upward as she hummed a simple tune. It was a quiet going day, just passed noon and the sun was shining above. It wasn't a school day and the young lady hoped to relax and enjoy her day outdoors after a week in stuffy classrooms. A small breath went between her lips and she settled herself after smoothing down a tuft of grass.
Chibiusa let out a yawn and fell back on the grass. A sack lunch laid next to her hip, in it was a sandwich, an apple, and two dumplings and two chocolate bars. She had packed and prepared it all herself, fearing her mother's cooking. At the moment she wasn't hungry but she knew within 5-10 minutes she would reach out and grab the pink lunch bag ans start to eat the contents inside.
It was a nice and bright day and she had to admit she dressed for the weather. She wore a light pink T-shirt with white lettering saying 'Moonlight' and a red-orange mini-skirt. Attached by a clasp was her pink jeweled brooch. She would always remember to carry the brooch with her, knowing the risk of leaving it.
The pink jewel flashed for a moment and the relaxing female sat up with a start. Worry showed for a second in her red-brown eyes. Raising her hand she tugged anxiously on one of her pink pigtails. She didn't see anything out of the ordinary, nothing at all. Just a field of grass stretching out. She heard a few rumors about some weird occurrences happening further into the fields lately but she didn't think much of it. Chibiusa shrugged her shoulders and muttered to herself, "Its nothing."
Staring at her lunch bag for a moment she reached out and pulled it toward her. She reached in a pulled out one of her chocolate bars. She knew it wasn't best to start out with sweets but the princess had a big sweet tooth. Tearing off the wrapper she took a bite into the rich chocolate and leaned back once more. Her eyes looked up as clouds scooted across the sky.

It had been a simple day in class today. The teachers would lecture, and she would pay attention. That was just the way things turned out for Hotaru. She perferred to be listening to the lessons, no matter how boring, rather than be running about the halls or grounds due to free time.
Frankly, the girl felt more alone lately. She seldom spoke to anyone, because they seldom spoke to her. Her only friend was the pink-haired princess, Chibi-usa. It wasn't the best thing she could have asked her. Sure, her highness was a good friend, and made Hotaru truly happy, but she was so popular with people, probably due to her light-hearted nature. She'd always been around someone, and Hotaru hardly ever got to see her, with the exception of a class, and business of the senshi and royal court. There wasn't much time for fun then.
She let out a sigh, tugging on the sleeves of her black jacket that covered the purple long-sleeved shirt. Many students did not adhere to the optional uniform policy, but Hotaru found following it simpler than dealing with the hassle of picking out a uniform everyday. Today though, she was not dressed in it, even though she was known to do that, even when school was not in session. The wind was breezy in the fields today, playing with her dark hair, and making it dance dreadfully close to the annoyed violet eyes of it's owner.
In her bag was a small wooden box. She'd made the bento herself, along with the food inside. In the various compartments there were white rice, vegetables, and a bunch of little cut up pieces of chicken. Hotaru was somewhat old-fashioned with her choice in food. She was about to find a spot to sit alone, but she saw the familiar pink hair blowing in the breeze. The Princess.
She approched slowly, although not walking any different that she usually did. She looked down at the smaller girl, and mumbled. "Mind if I join you, Tsukino-Sama?" Her bangs had covered her eyes. Hotaru had felt it nessicary to call her by title, rather than by name, as it was proper.
(I wasn't sure whether she'd have Usagi's last name, but I went for it :/)

Chibiusa was looking at an bunny shaped cloud when she heard a familiar voice, glancing over she spotted Hotaru and smiled. She sat up a few loose blades of grass sticking to her hair. Raising her free hand (one still holding the chocolate bar) she brushed them away. Sitting up all the way, she patted the ground next to her, taking a bite of chocolate at the same time. "Sure, go ahead." she said cheerfully.
She took a few more bites at her chocolate, staring over at her friend. Swallowing she glanced down for a moment. "You don't have to address me more formally, it makes me feel different," she said. It was true she didn't really mind being treated like a princess, it often suited though not always as much as making her feel out of place.
She looked up back up at her friend her red-brown shining in the light. "So how have you been? I haven't seen you that much the past week." That was true, after meeting Aki and spending some time with the other Sailor Senshi sisters (forever arguing it seems), she hadn't had much time with Hotaru. Chibiusa felt a little bad on that, not wanting to ignore any of her friends and knowing Hotaru was generally shy to other people.
She reached into her lunch bag and pulled out her other chocolate bar. She placed it next to her friend, not even asking if she wanted it. She didn't mind giving her spare bar away. In truth she was a huge sweet lover and she wasn't always willing to share. She didn't mind doing so with her friends and if she did eat it then the other cheerful upbeat teenager will just turn hyper- which could be a good or bad thing. She finished her chocolate bar and reached in for a dumpling. She sandwich was left untouched, it figures that she would have the main part last.
